Not sure if that is the proper greeting for the day but, what the heck I am going to wish onto everyone anyway. Yes, it that time of year when all us Catholics frantically decide on what to give up for the next 40 days and 40 nights. Last year, I was too lazy and didn’t give up anything with the exception of not eating meat on Fridays.
This year, I am going to give up drinking alcohol, which is very hard for me to do along with not eating any snacks, another weakness of mine. I have to admit I am not going to give up smoking.
Lately, I have been thinking about my relationship with God, which hasn’t been very good. I need to really work on getting my fat, lazy butt to church every Sunday. I admit lately, I just don’t feel like getting up on Sunday mornings.
This Lenten Season, I am going to make every Sunday Service. Anyway, for those of you who feel weird about a “Religious” post, TOO BAD.
