Cigar Musings

I know most of you have already heard and not surprised that the world didn’t end on May 21st like good ol’ Harold Camping predicted. In my belief we will not know the day or the hour as to when this beautiful planet will expire, it could have happened last Saturday or it could happen later today, who knows. I was kind of disappointed, only in the fact I had a really nice cigar and a chilled martini waiting for me just in case and now, he is predicting October 21st, 2011 and some people believe the Mayan’s calendar, prediction or whatever… is on December 21st 2012? If my old memory serves me correctly. I may have the date in December wrong but, all I know is they are predicting 2012. I only remember the year because, of the lousy movie that came out a couple of years ago.

My prediction as to when the world is going to end? I believe it is many centuries from now, I truly don’t think it is going to happen in my life time. If I got a penny for every time I heard someone predict when the world is going to end, I would be the richest man on Earth. Anyway, in the meantime, light’em up and just enjoy life as opposed to worrying about when the sky is going to fall.
